Main technical parameters

● Highly effective adsorption: activated carbon particles have a rich microporous structure (specific surface up to 500-1500 m²/g), which has a good adsorption effect on organic gases (for example, formaldehyde, benzene, TVOC), odors, and some inorganic gases (for example, H₂S, SO₂).

● Reuse: Can be reused by thermal regeneration, steam regeneration or chemical regeneration, but it is mainly a one-time refill for daily use and requires regular replacement;

● Adsorption capacity: The larger the filling volume and the smaller the particle size (with larger specific surface area), the higher the adsorption capacity, but the air flow resistance will also increase.

● Flexible structure: can be filled into various filter shapes (such as plate, box, cartridge, etc.); can be used in combination with other filtration materials (for example, HEPA, molecular sieve) to increase the efficiency of complex cleaning;

● particle size: the smaller the particle size, the higher the adsorption efficiency, but the resistance increases; particles of 3-4 mm are available for cleaning industrial exhausts (to reduce resistance), and 1-2 mm are available for cleaning premises (to increase adsorption capacity).

● Iodine Value: A high iodine value of 1000+mg/g is suitable for heavy soiling scenarios, while 800-900mg/g can be used for general cleaning.

●Activation type

● Activated carbon (low cost, suitable for general adsorption), wood activated carbon (high adsorption precision, suitable for food industry scenarios), coconut shell activated carbon (high strength, high iodine value, suitable for organic gas purification).

Secondly, the use and application of the scene

● Industrial waste gases: chemical, painting, printing, electronics industry, etc. for removing organic waste gases (such as acetone, toluene, ethyl acetate), acid and alkaline mists and odors; wastewater treatment plants, landfills, etc. for the adsorption of volatile low-quality gases (such as hydrogen sulfide, mercaptan).

● Indoor air purification: finishing of new houses, offices, etc. removal of formaldehyde, benzene, finishing odor; laboratories, hospitals, etc. Filtration experiments of volatile chemical gases (such as ethanol, formaldehyde), disinfectant odor of water, to protect the safety of the working environment.

● Specific environment and equipment: air purifier, new air system, etc. as the main filter material for combating indoor pollution;

● Specific industry purification: food, pharmaceutical industry to remove volatile organic compounds in the production process to ensure air quality in accordance with health standards; museums, archives, environmental adsorption of acid gases (such as SO₂) and ozone, to protect cultural relics, archives from corrosion.

Material and design

● Adsorption material: activated carbon particles from coconut shell are used, which have adsorption capacity for both polar and non-polar gases; Impregnated activated carbon (impregnated with potassium permanganate, phosphoric acid, etc.) is also available to improve the adsorption efficiency of acidic/alkaline gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.

Process and benefits of work

● Filling method: The activated carbon particles fill the mesh evenly, and the filling amount is more than 80%, which avoids uneven adsorption caused by particle settling.

Recommendations for installation and maintenance

● Adaptable installation: supports drawer, flange or snap-in installation, adapts to air conditioner boxes and filtration sections of fresh air installations, with ≥50mm control distance in the installation space; It is recommended to install a G4 primary filter in front of the device to prevent particles from clogging the activated carbon pores and extend the service life of the device by more than 30%. Replacement cycle: low concentration medium: 6-12 months; high concentration environment: 2-3 months, or when the removal rate of target contaminants falls below 70%.
