Frameless pocket filters F7 with cord fixation: a solution for modernizing ventilation systems in Wuhu 

The TC Filter Group plant has completed shipment of a batch of frameless pocket filters class F7 (fine cleaning) for an industrial facility in the city of Wuhu (Anhui Province, China). The products are developed according to individual technical specifications: instead of a rigid frame, a soft harness with an integrated draw cord is used, which allows you to quickly attach the filter directly to the customer’s existing mounting profile.

The key difference between this series is the absence of a rigid metal or plastic frame. The filter material is formed into corrugated pockets with thermal bonding and reinforced stitching; the perimeter is closed with a tight strapping with a tied cord. During installation, it is enough to pull the harness along the contour of the existing frame and fix the cord - the gaps are closed without additional seals. This design reduces the weight of the product, simplifies transportation and makes it possible to compensate for small deviations in the geometry of the seat, which are often encountered when reconstructing old air handling units.

For service departments, this configuration means a reduction in replacement time: there is no need to select a filter strictly according to its rigid dimensions or dismantle fasteners. The pocket structure provides a developed filtration area with moderate aerodynamic resistance, which is critical for maintaining the calculated air exchange in workshops and warehouse areas. The material of the pocket body is resistant to deformation during flow pulsations, and visual control of the degree of contamination is simplified due to the light-colored filter cloth.
